Thriving in Private Practice & Building a Network.

Earlier this year we held a ‘Thriving in Private Practice’ event at the Medical
Society of London. We heard from a wonderful array of companies, providing bespoke support and solutions for doctors running their own practices. The key theme was embracing technology across a range of activities including payments, billing, practice management, consultations, patient communications and marketing, to improve efficiency and productivity for doctors and to improve patient journeys.
Our Contributors included Coherent Healthcare, TORTUS, MediOffice – Medical Practice Software, Heidi Health, Carebit and digitalOLIV

Thanks to our sponsors who make all our events possible and free to our 1100 members – Top Doctors, Remedium and HCA Healthcare UK .

A special thank you to our guest speaker Dr. Arun Thiyagarajan – the new CEO of Vitality

‘Workplace Drama: Working with a Toxic Colleague’

We explored the telltale signs of a toxic work environment and how to identify them. Understanding the profound impact toxic colleagues can have on mental and emotional well-being was a key focus. Attendees left equipped with practical strategies for effectively dealing with difficult colleagues, along with tips and insights on fostering a more positive and productive work environment.

Autumn Event (29th Nov 2023)

This Autumn Event’s panel discussion was ‘What would I tell my younger self?’. Life lessons and reflections from an intergenerational panel including Dr Alison McLean, Dr Alastair Santhouse and Dr Krista Farrell. Words of wisdom from different perspectives and experiences.

Annual Drinks (April 2018)

The Annual Drinks Party took place on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. It was a delightful evening filled with camaraderie and shared memories, offering a chance for Cambridge Medical Graduates to gather and celebrate together.
